Joined Perkins Engines in 1987.
o Conducted research on high speed passenger cars diesel engines.
o Led the Performance, Emissions and Mechanical Development for Perkins’ large engines division.
o Became Chief Engineer for Research and Technology.
Joined Ford Motor Company in 1999.
o Started as Chief Program Engineer for the V6/ V8 diesels used in Jaguar Land Rover applications.
o In 2008 became Chief Engineer- Engines, Ford of Europe, covering both gasoline and diesel engines.
o In 2013 appointed Chief Engineer, Engines Systems, Ford North America leading applications from 2.0l up to 6.8l.
o In 2015 returned to the UK in the position of Director – Powertrain engineering, Ford of Europe.
