Prof Martin Williams

Martin Williams is a Professor of air quality at King’s College, London, UK. His research includes an assessment of the effects of scenarios to mitigate climate change on air quality and public health, urban air quality, exposure assessment and the health effects of air pollution. Until 2010 he was Head of the Air Quality policy and science programme in Defra. He is a member of Defra’s Air Quality Expert Group and chair of Defra’s Air Quality Modelling Steering Group and co-Chair of the World Health Organisation Air Quality Guidelines Development Group.
